Welcome to Shona Elise Photography, my name is Shona and I am a photographer, specialising in newborns, in Surrey.

Photography has been a passion of mine for many years and my love of capturing magical moments was ignited further when my son was born. I would sit in wonder for hours and stare at him. All of his tiny details, the eyelashes, the dinky fingers and toes wishing that he could stay this small forever. Knowing that wasn’t possible I did the next best thing... had all of those magical moments captured in a newborn session. From here I went on to train specifically in newborn photography.

All of my sessions are photographed in my home studio based in Coulsdon, Surrey. Here I hope you will be able to relax and enjoy watching your gorgeous little one be photographed in a style that suits you. You may even be able to catch up on 40 winks!

Beyond the tiny toes I absolutely capturing your baby’s next milestone... sitting independently and boy are they so proud of themselves. Your little one has just managed to learn to sit up on their own and their personality is starting to come out in abundance. The whole first year is just a whirlwind of sleepless nights, feeding, nappies, laughs, giggles and growing! The difference between your newborn images and sitter can be mindboggling, but again, blink and you’ll miss it and forget just how small they were.

​ I still now can’t believe that when my daughter was born she was smaller than the T.V remote, but there is a photo to prove it!
